Precautions after tooth extraction

1. Please bite the gauze cotton ball at the tooth extraction site tightly, and take it out gently after 30-60 minutes.

2. You can eat 2 hours after tooth extraction. In recent days, it is advisable to eat soft food, avoid overheating and drinking, and avoid chewing at the tooth extraction site.

3. Within 2 days after tooth extraction, there may be blood streaks in the saliva, which is a normal phenomenon. If there is a lot of bleeding, please refer to the doctor in time.

4. Avoid gargling and brushing your teeth on the day of tooth extraction (you can brush your teeth the next day), and it is not suitable to be picky, touch your tongue and repeatedly suck the wound to prevent wound infection and bleeding. If there are sutures at the extraction site, they will be removed 5 to 7 days after the operation.

5. Swelling, pain, and difficulty in opening mouth often occur after extraction of complex teeth. After anti-inflammatory treatment, it usually improves after 3 to 5 days.

6. We recommend dentists to use anti-emphysema handpieces, which can prevent patients from swollen gums and allow faster wound healing.

Precautions for teeth installation after tooth extraction

1. After tooth extraction, usually after 2-3 months, the tooth can be installed after the tooth extraction wound is healed.

2. The choice of tooth installation method:

(1) Dental Implant: The artificial tooth root is implanted into the alveolar bone where the tooth is missing, and then porcelain teeth are made on the upper part to fix the denture, which is closest to the physiological state without taking it out and wearing it. We recommend using a 20:1 contra angle with high torque for dental implant.

(2) Porcelain teeth: The healthy teeth before and after the extraction are ground to a smaller size, and then the extracted teeth and the front and rear teeth are repaired in the form of braces. It is also a fixed denture, which does not need to be removed or worn.

(3) Movable dentures: The plastic dentures are fixed on the adjacent teeth with bases and clasps. This method needs to be removed and cleaned after each meal.
